Our Story
ThreeCo is a Kansas City-based commercial electrical contractor. We started the company because we wanted to do commercial electrical work the right way — with safety, craftsmanship, and the success of every client at the center of every job.
Our work spans the full commercial electrical lifecycle: new construction electrical packages, ongoing service and maintenance, and the lighting and renewable energy upgrades that modernize a space and lower a bill. We serve businesses, contractors, and institutions across the Kansas City metro, on both the Missouri and Kansas sides — and we travel for commercial work.
We're not the biggest contractor in town, and we don't try to be. What we are is a team that shows up, communicates clearly, hits deadlines, and does the kind of work you'd want your name attached to.
Leadership
Chief Executive Officer
Bob brings a background in electrical engineering and architectural design to ThreeCo. That background shapes how we approach complex commercial systems — from power distribution layout to renewable integration — and his lighting design work means our projects don't just function, they look right. When a build needs both technical depth and design sensibility, that's Bob's lane.
Chief Operating Officer
Jason is a Master Electrician — the highest licensure level in the trade, and the credential behind every job ThreeCo runs. He drives field execution, code compliance, and the standard of craftsmanship our crews are held to. When something has to be done right the first time, Jason is the reason it gets done right.
Chief Technology Officer
Brendon is the reason ThreeCo runs like a tech company that happens to wire buildings. As CTO he leads every piece of technology in the business, and he builds most of it himself: ThreeCo's in-house operations platform and the AI tools around it, from customer intake and video estimating to scheduling, field work, invoicing and accounting. He builds with AI coding agents working side by side, backed by thousands of automated tests, and the office and field crews use what he ships every day.
Brendon's edge is putting AI to work on real problems, not slide decks. Estimates that start from a customer's phone video. Orders read and entered by AI. Bots that watch the books and flag what needs a human. He came up through logistics and operations, running companies and moving freight across the country, so he builds for the people doing the work: fast, practical and hard to break. He is always glad to help other business owners take their next step with AI.
Chief Financial Officer
Todd keeps ThreeCo's numbers as tight as its wiring. As CFO he oversees the company's finances, from job costing and cash flow to vendor payments, billing and the books, so every project is priced right, paid on time and accounted for to the penny. Customers and vendors get clear invoices and a straight answer on where things stand, and the team gets the financial footing to take on bigger work with confidence. And yes, he can still dunk.
Chief Marketing Officer
Ashley leads how ThreeCo shows up in Kansas City. As CMO she owns the brand, the website, search and online reviews, and the story behind the work our crews do every day, making sure the people who need a commercial electrician find ThreeCo first and know exactly what to expect when they call. She connects the field to the market, turning finished jobs into proof of what ThreeCo does best.
Director of Human Resources
Leslie runs the people side of ThreeCo. Every new hire starts with her — paperwork, getting set up, and making sure day one comes with a plan instead of a pile of forms. She handles HR for the whole team, from benefits questions to company policies to keeping everyone's records straight. And when there's a finished project or a holiday to celebrate, Leslie is the one planning the office party.
VP of Business Development
Cody leads business development at ThreeCo and brings more than 20 years of sales and business-development leadership to the role. Before ThreeCo he spent over a decade as Vice President of Sales and Operations for a three-location battery distributor, where he grew revenue from $19 million to $27 million, rolled out Salesforce across the company, rebuilt the sales team's pay around results, and ranked in the top 10% of 225 territories for ten straight years. Earlier, he spent more than 12 years at Interstate Batteries in national sales and business development.
