Commercial Electrician in Lenexa, KS
Lot lights, bollards, signs and canopies — most of our Lenexa work is outside the building.
Most of what ThreeCo did in Lenexa in 2026 happened outside. We serviced bollard lights, repaired sign and canopy lighting, added shields to parking lot lights and put in a new exterior outlet for a retail store — alongside service calls for a facilities-maintenance customer with buildings in the city.
That is what a business park or retail center asks of an electrician once it is built: the lot, the walks and the signs have to be lit every night, they are the fixtures weather and traffic reach first, and nobody notices them until one goes dark. Our parking lot and exterior lighting page covers the whole of that work.

Shields, bollards and signs
A shield is a small part that solves a specific complaint. Fitted to a parking lot fixture, it cuts the light that spills sideways or upward — into a neighbour's windows, across a road or into the sky — and leaves it on the pavement. It is often a far cheaper answer to glare than new fixtures.
Bollard lights live at knee height along walks and drives, exactly where snowplows, mowers and car bumpers find them. Sign and canopy lights usually run from their own photocell or time clock, so when a whole sign goes dark the control is the first thing to check, not the lamps.

FAQ
Questions from Lenexa
Can you stop our parking lot lights shining into the neighbours?
Often, yes, by fitting shields to the fixtures already on the poles rather than replacing them. A shield cuts the light that spills sideways and upward and keeps it on the pavement. We added shields to parking lot lights at a Lenexa property in 2026.
The bollard lights along our walkway keep failing. Is that normal?
Bollards sit at bumper and mower height, so damage is common, and water in the base or a failed driver are the other usual causes. We find which it is before replacing anything — bollard service was part of our Lenexa work in 2026.
Can you handle routine service calls for our Lenexa buildings?
Yes. Part of our Lenexa work in 2026 was service calls for a facilities-maintenance customer. A maintenance agreement is offered separately, and you do not need one to call us for service.
Is an Evergy lighting rebate possible for a Lenexa business?
Lenexa is on the Kansas side, and Evergy's program page lists business lighting incentives for Kansas only (checked 5 October 2026). If the building is on an Evergy business account and a program is open, ThreeCo files the paperwork; Evergy decides whether it pays.
